Development Manager, Network Transition Projects

MMRA - Metro Tunnel

The role will lead the planning and development of the identified brownfield rail Network Transition Projects (NTPs) that interface with the Melbourne Metro Tunnel Project. The role will require project development and planning activities, supporting the strategic direction of Transport for Victoria and cultivating effective and collaborative stakeholder relationships. The ability to build and maintain high-level influential relationships across a broad range of stakeholders is fundamental to the success of this role to manage key stakeholder expectations to deliver the best for project and network outcomes. Key outcomes include the development of scope and technical requirements including reference designs and programmes that deliver the required operational outcomes. The development activities will define scope, budget, quality and time allowances to support business case submissions and the subsequent allocation of a delivery budget. It will also inform interfaces to existing Projects and work packages. The role will lead a team of project managers, engineers and technical specialists, providing high quality people management and supporting ongoing capability development. Read more and apply.

Planning and Environment Advisor

This role works within a team that provides planning, environmental and property services to design and construction teams within the Melbourne Metro Rail Authority (MMRA), initially working on the Regional Rail Revival which includes the development and delivery of a significant package of brownfields rail improvement works across Victoria's regional rail network The Planning and Environment Advisor will be the lead contact for all external planning and development activity that could affect (or be affected by) Melbourne Metro and will advocate on behalf of the Project to deliver maximum community benefit. To be successful in this role, candidates will have excellent communication, technical and stakeholder management skills, broad industry networks and an ability to work across the full range of development industry disciplines. These roles are responsible for the management of packages of design and development works for the Regional Rail Revival Program. These roles will lead the design, development and construction planning of major brownfield rail project works. These roles require project management experience in infrastructure projects including the integration across multiple project disciplines.
