The focus of this position is to support the Major Transport Infrastructure Program, primarily through providing support to the Major Transport Infrastructure Board and its Subcommittees and assisting managing key program requirements. This position works closely with a broad range of stakeholders, preparing and distributing reports, agendas, papers, minutes and other relevant documentation, ensuring both the quality and timeliness of the documentation to the highest level. The role is required to carefully handle a variety of sensitive information and requires an individual who can work with a high degree of autonomy and within tight, often conflicting timeframes. We have an opportunity for a Senior Sustainability Advisor to be a part of the Metro Tunnel Sustainability team. Reporting to the Sustainability Manager, this key role will assist in the delivery and implementation of best practice environmental and sustainability outcomes for the Metro Tunnel Project and the Ballarat Line Upgrade (BLU) Project. The Senior Sustainability Advisor is required to ensure the project implements the MMRA Sustainability Policy and Sustainability Targets across the procurement, construction and practical completion phases on the Early Works and BLU Packages. ISCA and GBCA outcomes are mandated for our delivery partners and experience in implementation of these two Sustainability Rating tools is essential. We are looking for an experienced Sustainability Infrastructure practitioner who has expertise in delivering infrastructure sustainability rating tools on large infrastructural programs.
