Changes to buses in Parkville
The Parkville Station works are beginning to escalate resulting in disruptions to public transport in the area.
As Grattan Street will close between Flemington Road and Leicester Street from Sunday 18 February 2018, routes 401, 402, 403, 505 and 546 are changing.
Route 401 will travel as a one-way loop service from North Melbourne Station to the Royal Melbourne Hospital and Melbourne University, before returning to North Melbourne Station.
Route 402 will turn right from the Royal Melbourne Hospital onto Elizabeth Street, left onto Pelham Street, left onto Leicester Street, right onto Grattan Street before continuing their existing route.
Route 403 will travel as a loop service in one direction from Footscray Station to the Royal Melbourne Hospital and Melbourne University, before returning to Footscray Station.
Route 505 and 546 will have minor route changes to travel along Pelham, Leicester, Queensberry and Elizabeth streets with near minimal stop changes.
These changes will help deliver more reliable buses more often while the new Parkville station is built.
Full details of these route changes, including maps, can be found on the Public Transport Victoria website.
