Albert Road Reserve pop-up park

To enable continued construction of Anzac Station, the Metro Tunnel Project decommissioned the Albert Road Reserve pop-up park in November 2022.

Site facilities have now been established in the area and work will begin in 2023 on the station's Albert Road Reserve entrance and a linear park.

The Albert Road Reserve pop-up park has been a well used, award-winning community asset during construction of the new station and has hosted many community events, including a farewell celebration in November 2022.

The temporary pop-up park in Albert Road Reserve was informed by community engagement. It featured timber decking, generous seating and new plantings to improve the aesthetic and amenity of the reserve.
