A woman with a shaved head wearing a pale leotard with cloth trailing from her wrists hangs from two black ropes in her hands.

On International Day of People with Disability, Metro Tunnel Creative Program is thrilled to announce Women’s Circus for the new Public Realm Performance Project Co-commission, in partnership with Arts Centre Melbourne.

Founded in 1991, Melbourne’s Women’s Circus is a diverse, not-for-profit organisation specialising in circus and performance training.

Performing Lines will work Women's Circus on a brand new work championing artists with lived disability.

The final work will premiere in a festival setting in 2021 in Melbourne's Arts Precinct.
