Live Metro Tunnel Q&A for Open House 2020

Posted: 22 Jul 2020

As part of Open House Melbourne 2020, we’re inviting you to join us for a live Q&A with two Metro Tunnel Project tunnelling experts.

Construction has been continuing underneath Melbourne to build the twin 9km tunnels and five new stations, with all four tunnel boring machines (TBMs) now in operation and our roadheaders busy excavating in the CBD creating the station caverns.

Learn more about the incredible feats taking place on the Metro Tunnel by joining our Facebook Live Q&A at 2pm on Saturday 25 July, where Tunnels & Stations Director, Linda Cantan, and Deputy Director, Paul Thomas, will be answering your questions.

Submit your questions in advance to creativeprogram@metrotunnelcyp-pco.com.au.

In addition to the live Q&A, you can also view a range of exclusive videos on the Open House Melbourne website, including a tour of State Library Station, a tunnel boring machine tour and the breakthrough at Town Hall Station.
