Posted: 13 Oct 2020

A man in a wheel chair is suspended in the air by cables. He has one muscular arm wrapped around the wasit of a woman who is dangling with outstretched arms. In the background is a high-rise residential building and blue sky.

Metro Tunnel Creative Program and Arts Centre Melbourne are seeking expressions of interest for a new work to premiere at Arts Centre Melbourne next year.

The $40,000 Public Realm Performance Commission is open to Deaf and disabled artists and collectives.

The successful project will be participatory and site-responsive, and explore themes of movement, repetition and time. The artist/s will receive developmental, production, technical and marketing support.

Expressions of interest close Friday 30 October. For more information and to apply, visit the Arts Centre Melbourne website.
