Long term closure - from May 2020
Peppercorn Lawn, on the edge of the Yarra River, will be occupied for ground improvement works associated with Metro Tunnel construction until March 2021.
The construction area is located between the Princes Bridge and the rowing clubs (refer to map).
Pedestrian access along the Capital City Trail will be maintained, however, one section of path connecting the Capital City Trail and the rowing sheds to St Kilda Road will be closed during the works. The remaining access points will not be affected (refer to map).
Cyclist access along the Main Yarra Trail will be maintained during this time, with the approved cycle route along the back of the rowing sheds on Boathouse Drive remaining open (refer to map).
