Reporting into the Systems Assurance Manager, the Accreditation Manager is responsible for looking after the MTM Management of Change process and associated Rail Safety Accreditation activities with ONRSR. This will include coordination of lodgement Application for Accreditation Variations (AVA) with the ONRSR for the scope of the Rail Systems Alliance (RSA) and ensuring residual risk a handover to MTM’s Risk Acceptance Working Group and Management of change procedures

Reporting to the Senior Interface Manager - ARTOs, this role is responsible for engagement with Accredited Rail Transport Operators (ARTOs) during the Reference Design and Procurement phases of the Geelong Fast Rail Project. The role will involve engaging with Metro Trains Melbourne (MTM), V/Line, ARTC & VicTrack in relation to track, civil, structures, signalling, overhead wire, stations and power designs to seek alignment and approval of concepts during the Reference Design phase of the project.

RPV, MTIA is seeking to engage a Lead Design Manager. The Lead Design Manager is responsible for client-side management of design, development and engineering across Rail Projects Victoria's (RPV) Geelong Fast Rail (GFR) package of works. The Design Interface Manager will provide technical advice and guidance across a range of engineering and design issues during project development and delivery. This role co-ordinates all technical and engineering support to the relevant work package, including the development of requirements and the review of designs for completeness, compliance to requirements, standards and constructability, drawing upon technical specialist advice from subject matter experts to resolve a range of engineering design challenges. The role will also be responsible for managing a team of technical advisors and provide expert technical advice and guidance across a range of engineering and design issues. This role will also be responsible for managing a team of technical advisors to prepare reference designs. The ability to build, maintain and influence strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders is fundamental to the success of this role.

RPV, MTIA is seeking to engage a Planner and Scheduler who is responsible for the development and management of detailed and summary programs for various work Packages, for the monitoring and reporting of progress and program status and for the provision of strategic program advice and support to Package Teams and Leadership Teams within Rail Projects Victoria. Working with the Package Directors within specific project teams and with the Planning and Scheduling Manager, the Planner and Scheduler ensures completeness, accuracy and clarity of programs, the identification of critical works and interfaces with other Packages, and the effective communication of program status including any delays and issues arising along with mitigation strategies.

RPV, MTIA is seeking to engage a Project Engineer (Geelong Fast Rail Project) to be responsible for supporting the delivery of projects within the Geelong Fast Rail portfolio of works. The Project Engineer will use their prior experience in coordinating project scope, approvals, design development, program development and contracts development to assist the Project Manager in all phases of the project lifecycle. The Project Engineer will need the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

RPV, MTIA is seeking to engage a Project Engineer – Mechanical Electrical Plumbing (MEP) to be responsible for supporting the delivery of the Metro Tunnel Project within the Rail Projects Victoria portfolio of works, focusing on the mechanical, electrical and hydraulic related disciplines. The Project Engineer will use their prior experience in reviewing design submissions, construction related design changes, testing and commissioning and supporting the verification of design at the system testing gates. The Project Engineer will work with the RPV Tunnel and Stations MEP team and have the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

Melbourne Airport Rail

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, this role is responsible for leading the client side development and delivery works for the Melbourne Airport Rail. The role calls on extensive project management experience in infrastructure project environments, including integration across multiple disciplines. The ability to build, maintain and influence strong relationships across a broad range of internal and external stakeholders is fundamental in the role.

The Principal Power Engineer is a subject matter expert role within the project's Power Systems team, which ensures power system objectives are achieved across the project throughout the development, delivery and commissioning stages. This role leads High Voltage systems architecture for the Metro Tunnel and other RPV projects, incorporating Public Transport Victoria's requirements. Working closely within a multi-disciplinary team environment, the Principal Power Engineer will be the primary source of specialist technical power related advice. Working with multi stakeholders, this role will consult with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders influencing key project decisions.

This includes facilitation of various workshops to identify risks, hazards and controls and ensuring that these are managed through the procedures identified in the safety management framework of the project. These workshops range from technical system design topics to operations and maintenance scenarios.

Regional Rail Revival

RPV, MTIA is seeking to engage a Senior Advisor, Communications and Stakeholder Engagement. The role is responsible for providing strategic advice and overseeing the development and delivery of communications and stakeholder engagement strategies to support the projects delivered by RPV including the Regional Rail Revival program. This position will work closely with RPV's technical and planning teams and appointed construction contractor communication and project teams. The successful candidate will have the capability and requisite experience to proactively manage issues and risks, manage a high-performing team, facilitate high quality communications and stakeholder engagement activities, influence and negotiate to drive positive project outcomes, and be experienced in managing sensitive stakeholder interfaces in an issues-rich and complex environment.

RPV, MTIA is seeking to engage a Senior Cost Controller to support the South West and North regions for our Regional Rail suite of projects in Victoria. Reporting to the Cost Control Manager as part of the Project Controls team, the Senior Cost Controller will fulfil an exciting, active and crucial role in the planning and successful delivery of Rail Projects Victoria (RPV) program of works. As such, you will be required to have experience of large infrastructure and/or multidisciplinary projects in a similar role and a relevant tertiary degree such as Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management or in a related field. As a Senior Cost Engineer/Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring RPV is meeting ongoing internal and external progress monitoring and reporting requirements, play a key role in change management as well as being part of ongoing support for the Project Team during the development, procurement and delivery phases to ensure the successful delivery of the projects.

RPV, MTIA is seeking to engage a Senior Project Manager, Signalling. This role will identify, understand and resolve various technical issues, providing specialist direction with the purpose of ensuring that the Melbourne Airport Rail (MAR) work packages are aligned and achieving operational outcomes throughout the development and delivery phases of the project lifecycle. This role will manage the identification, development and integration of the technical and program interface deliverables for MAR. The role will call on experience and expertise in major brownfield rail construction projects including integration across multiple disciplines and stakeholders. The Signalling Design Review Engineer undertakes work within Signalling engineering assurance services by undertaking design review & technical product approvals from the work submitted by the work packages. The role assists in the design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems and follows practices and methodologies to ensure the safety of employees, contractors and passengers and that the MTM operating system is not compromised throughout the project life cycle.
